Mauldin Books is an independent publishing company founded by Kyle Mauldin Sutton in 2012. It began as a home for the books he was writing and has grown to include fiction, memoir, caregiving, communication, relationships, intuition, and past-life exploration.

Mauldin Books is home to the Chancellor Family Trilogy, The Caregiver's Companion Series, the What Is Truth? Series, and forthcoming books connected to Intuitive Healer Coach and Echoes of Past Lives. Its books may be personal, historical, mysterious, serious, or humorous, but each begins with something Kyle believes is worth saying.

Every title is written and developed by Kyle. He carries each project from its earliest concept through writing, design, and preparation for publication. This direct involvement helps each book retain the reason it was created and the voice it was meant to be told in.

In the future, Mauldin Books may grow to include editors, designers, coaches, and self-publishing support for other writers. For now, its focus is clear: giving Kyle's growing body of work a thoughtful and enduring home.

What Guides the Work

Every book should have a clear reason for being written—and a reason to be read.

A project may begin with a story that won't let go, an experience that could help someone else, or a question that keeps asking for an answer. The subject and form may change. The responsibility to the reader does not.

Kyle begins by listening to what the work is asking to become. He develops it honestly and carries it through without losing the voice or purpose that gave it life.

The goal isn't to make every Mauldin Books title sound alike. It's to give each book the form it needs and leave the reader with something worth carrying beyond the final page.

A Note from Kyle Mauldin Sutton

I founded Mauldin Books in 2012 because I needed a home for writing that didn't fit neatly into one category. My faith shapes who I am, but Mauldin Books isn't limited to faith-centered work. Some ideas become novels. Others require a personal, practical, or unexpected form.

For years, I separated parts of my writing by subject and sometimes by the name I placed on the cover. I no longer want that distance between my name and my work. Whether a book begins with lived experience, imagination, intuition, or a question I'm still exploring, I accept responsibility for it and publish it under my full name.

I remain directly involved in the entire publishing process. I carry each project from its earliest notes through writing, revision, cover design, layout, and preparation for publication. Working this closely with every book helps me protect the reason it began.

Mauldin Books is personal because books are personal. I want the writer's reason for beginning to remain present when the finished book reaches the reader.
